WHAT IS GENTLE EXERCISE/ EXTEND?
This exercise program caters specifically for the over 50s. Using chair and standing actities to improve strength and balance. As we get older, the muscles become weaker, we suffer aches and pains and become more prone to falls and injury. Our GENTLE EXERCISE/ EXTEND Program tackles these issues and helps you to develop a zest for life and a healthier and more independent lifestlye.
The class starts with chair based exercise and then progresses to strength, balance training with a few standing routines and a cool down. This class is lots of fun and includes movement to music as well as exercise equipment such as small weights or dynabands. Even though some exercises are chair-based, clients will often be surprised at how active these exercises can be!.
